What we collect
When you use a form on this site. The contact form asks for your name, a phone number and your message. The wholesale form asks for your business name, a contact name, a phone number, your postcode and what you are looking to buy. We collect only what the form asks for. When you simply visit. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, the pages requested and the time of the request. These are kept for security and troubleshooting. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this site. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no profiling.If you agree to analytics
Where you have agreed, Google Analytics records which pages are visited, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what brought you here. Your IP address is shortened before it is stored, and we have switched off every advertising and personalisation feature. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use what you send us to answer you and to supply the meat you ask for. Where you have contacted us, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry, and — once you order — performance of a contract with you. Server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are delivered to us by email, so they pass through our email and hosting providers. Before a form is accepted, Cloudflare checks that it was sent by a person rather than an automated script; that check tells Cloudflare your IP address and nothing you typed. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing. We will disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and for as long as we have an ongoing business relationship with you. Where we have records we must keep for tax or accounting purposes, we keep those for the period the law requires. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our using it. Write to us at ozi.meat@hotmail.com and we will respond.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
